The Directorate has the responsibility of overseeing the effective and efficient utilization of the Human, Physical and Financial Resources of the Office. The Directorate comprises of three divisions viz: Human Resource Unit, Finance and Stores Unit and Facilities Management Unit. It is pivotal in ensuring staff are assigned and work efficiently in their directorates/units of posting.
Functions of Admin and Finance Directorate:
The functions of the directorate includes the following:
– Staffing and Staff matters
– Administration of rules, regulations and relevant government policies.
– Office Building management
– Office Assets management which includes: Fixed assets and consumables.
– Custodians of Office funds which involves opening and operation of accounts and Book keeping.
– Management of available resources for day to day activities of the Office.
– Render financial returns of the Office to Treasury Division, Office of the Accountant General, Gombe State.
