The Directorate coordinates Development Partners activities and ensures that signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) are in line with the goals and objectives of DEVAGOM. The Directorate mediates between the Office and the Partners that come into the State (be it foreign or local).
Functions of Technical Assistance
– Coordinating the activities of the Technical Assistance Directorate
– Coordinating the effective management and utilization of development cooperation and technical assistance to the State.
– Coordinating all bilateral and multilateral assistance from UN system, World Bank, European Union, Department for International Development (DFID), USAID, UNICEF, UNIDO, UNFPA, etc.
– Processing request for Counterpart funding for development Partners in the State.
– Supervision of jointly funded projects of development Partners and the State government.
– Articulate sectoral needs of the State for support by Development partners.
